Before Delta Reign: what the Mega Evolution era looks like in the data
Mega Evolution: Delta Reign arrives on 6 November as the era's final main set. Across the era's 31 tracked cards, PSA 10 population explains nothing of PSA 10 price yet, and the month to mid-September was the softest of any era.
Mega Evolution: Delta Reign is scheduled for 6 November 2026 and described as "the final main expansion of the Mega Evolution era" (Dexerto, updated 28 August 2026). The era's three sets so far, Mega Evolution (26 September 2025), Phantasmal Flames (14 November 2025) and Ascended Heroes (30 January 2026), joined the catalog on 15 September 2026, with 31 population-tracked cards between them. Here is the era as the screens see it.

The fit
The pop-adjusted screen regresses PSA 10 price on PSA 10 population within each era. For Mega Evolution the slope is −0.11 with an R² of 0.01 on 31 cards. Population explains none of the variation in PSA 10 price. In a year-old era that is not surprising: the populations are still being built, the largest (Mega Charizard X ex at 31,220) is four times the next, and eBay comps for the Mega Hyper Rares rest on a few hundred sales.
The month
Over the thirty days to mid-September the era's tracked cards moved a median −10% at raw market, against −3% to +3% for every other era. The two Ascended Heroes chase cards above fell 18% and 20%; the Phantasmal Flames Charizard rose 2%, from $692.50 to $704.77.
None of this says what Delta Reign will do. It says where the era stands on the day, in figures that can be checked against the screens, so that whatever November brings can be measured against something.
